How to Sign Up for SmartChef

Before You Start

Before creating your SmartChef account, make sure you have the following information ready:

• Your email address

  This will be your login and where we'll send important notifications.

• Your business name

  The name of your restaurant, cafe, or food business.

• Your name

  We'll use this to personalise your experience.

Create Your Account

There are two ways to create your SmartChef account. Choose the option that works best for you:

Option 1: Sign Up with Google (Fastest)

The quickest way to get started is to sign up with your Google account. No password to remember!

1. Go to SmartChef

   Visit app.smartchef.ie in your web browser.

2. Click "Continue with Google"

   You'll see this button on the login page.

3. Select your Google account

   Choose the Google account you want to use for SmartChef.

4. Enter your business name

   You'll be prompted to enter your business name to complete setup.

Option 2: Sign Up with Email

Prefer not to use Google? You can create an account with any email address:

1. Go to SmartChef

   Visit app.smartchef.ie in your web browser.

2. Click "Sign Up"

   You'll find this below the sign-in form.

3. Enter your email address

   Type your email and click "Continue".

4. Create a password

   Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters.

5. Enter your details

   Fill in your name and business name.

6. Complete sign-up

   Click "Create Account" to finish.

Email Verification

If you signed up with email and password, you'll receive a verification email. Verifying your email ensures you can recover your account if you forget your password.

1. Check your inbox

   Look for an email from SmartChef with the subject "Verify your email address".

2. Click the verification link

   Open the email and click the "Verify Email" button or link.

3. You're verified!

   Your email is now confirmed and your account is fully active.
