Reheat Only Records
Record bought-in chilled and frozen food that you reheat straight from the pack. Photograph the label, probe the food, sign, and you're done.

What It's For
Use a Reheat Only record for food you buy in ready-made, chilled or frozen, and heat to serve: pies, soups, sauces, ready meals, frozen products cooked straight from frozen.
The record shows which product it was, that it was within its use by date, and that it reached a core temperature of 70°C or above before it was served.
Cooked it yourself?
For food you cook in your own kitchen and cool for later, use Cooking, Cooling & Reheating Records instead.
There is nothing to set up. The Reheat Only tile is on your dashboard from the start, and each record is for one product.
Recording a Reheat

Tap "Reheat Only" on your dashboard
The date and time are filled in for you.

Tap "Scan Product Label" and photograph the label
SmartChef fills in the product name, use by date, batch code and quantity where it can read them. You can take up to four photos if the details are on different parts of the pack.

Check the details
Correct anything that's wrong, or type it all in yourself. Supplier, use by date, batch code and quantity are optional.

Enter the core temperature
Probe the thickest part of the food. Type the reading in, or send it from a Bluetooth probe.

Select your name, sign, and tap "Save & Finish"
The label photos are saved with the record.
Warnings
SmartChef shows a clear red warning if:
- The core temperature is below 70°C. Keep reheating, probe again and enter the new reading.
- The product is past its use by date. It should not be served.
After Saving
- Reports: go to Dashboard, then Reports, and choose Reheat Only Record. Tap View to open a record, and Export PDF for a copy.
- Supervisor sign-off: records appear in Supervisor Review with your other records.
- Daily report email: includes a Reheat Only summary.
