The SC1 form is used to record details of food deliveries and temperature checks. It also helps you maintain an "Approved Supplier List" — a requirement for food safety compliance and traceability.

Every time food arrives at your kitchen, you need to check it's from an approved supplier, verify the temperature (for chilled/frozen goods), and record any issues. This paper trail proves to Environmental Health Officers that you're following food safety procedures.

Who needs to use it?

Any food business that receives food deliveries from suppliers. This includes restaurants, cafes, hotels, nursing homes, schools, and catering companies.

What do you record?

  • Supplier Name — who delivered the food
  • Products Supplied — helps build your approved supplier list
  • Delivery Temperature — for chilled and frozen goods
  • Date and Time — when the delivery arrived
  • Any Issues — damaged packaging, incorrect temperature, etc.

Why is it important?
